Sorven Forest is a game based mostly around the catching of bugs however it also provides the opportunity to improve your

Sorvenforest

Lumberjack skills. Like with Botany points gained from Farming, the game will only help you get to a base of around 100 lumberjack skill points. If your base skill is already above 100 you won't gain any points from items found in the forest.

To play you need at least 1 Net (5g each at Sorven Pet Stop). Bait and Honey Pots are optional but will assist in catching bugs. Bugs can be exchanged for items in the Goods Exchange.

Bugs are currently locked to accounts and cannot be sold/traded.

How to play[]

A bug or an item will appear on screen. For every encounter, no matter the outcome, you will lose 1 energy out of a maximum of 5. Your energy replenishes every 3 hours.

If a lumberjack item, nets or bait appears instead of a bug, you automatically pick up the item. If a bug appears you have to take on the encounter to attempt to catch it. You can use a net to attempt to catch it but using bait first may make the bug come closer to your avatar and improve the chance of capture. Bugs may also ignore your bait (and stay in the same place) or be scared away (and move back 1 space). Keep this in mind and try to time your nets wisely. Your net may catch the bug, miss it, or cause the bug to run away and each of the outcomes loses a net in the process. If your net misses the bug, you can still carry on trying to catch it until you succeed or it escapes.

Honey Pots work like bait except they automatically capture the bug you're currently trying to catch. They are available at the Donation Shop for 100 Luna each.
